# Key profiles

Everything the key profiles you watch follow, live, and which of them alert you.

The left side is a live log of every account your watched key profiles follow, grouped by day. It also includes follows by every key profile in the lists you subscribe to in [Custom alerts](/watchlist-and-alerts/watchlist/custom-alerts.md), so it can grow far beyond the profiles you picked one by one.

* Every key profile you add starts with alerts on. The bell mutes one without removing it: its follows still appear here, you just aren't pinged.
* Mute the very active profiles and keep alerts for the few whose follows you'd act on. Ten pings a day you read beat two hundred you ignore.

**Free plan:** some follows show as *Hidden follow*, and alerts aren't delivered.
