# Telegram bot

Alerts in Telegram, lookups from any chat with the bot, and the members-only groups.

[@alphatelegrambot](https://t.me/alphatelegrambot) sends your alerts to Telegram, answers lookups, and lets Pro members into Alphagate's Telegram groups.

## Connecting

There's no ID to type: **Connect Telegram** (Profile & Settings) opens the bot with a one-time link, valid for 10 minutes, and pressing **Start** finishes it. You can connect on the Free plan; alerts and groups start the day you upgrade. One Telegram account can be linked to one Alphagate account; linking it again moves it. `/disconnect` in the bot unlinks.

## What it sends (Pro)

Tweets and account changes of your watched projects, follows by your watched key profiles and subscribed lists, new projects matching your categories and chains, your velocity alerts, and community joins. Mute a key profile on the Watchlist and its alerts stop here too.

## Members-only groups

**Get group access** in the bot's `/start` menu gives Pro members one invite link per group. Each link works once and expires after 15 minutes.

When a Pro plan ends, its member is removed from the groups after a while.

## Commands

Lookups need Pro. Use usernames without the @.

| `/project <username>` (`/p`) | Followers, key followers, account age, when Alphagate found it, bio, chains, tags, links, contracts and its first key followers. |
| `/alerts <username>`         | The account's last 20 changes: usernames, bio, links and more.                                                                   |
| `/first <username>`          | The account's first followers.                                                                                                   |
| `/scan <username>`           | Its previous usernames.                                                                                                          |
| `/trending`                  | The 10 accounts with up to 30,000 followers that gained the most key followers in the last 24 hours.                             |
| `/followings_kf <n>`         | The 7 latest follows of accounts with exactly *n* key followers (default 0).                                                     |
