Key terms

The words Alphagate uses, and what they mean here.

  • Key profile (KP). An account on Alphagate's hand-curated list of 9,000+ worth watching: VCs and investors, founders, developers, researchers, official project accounts and proven alpha hunters.

  • Key followers (KFs). How many key profiles follow an account: the main quality signal across Alphagate. A new account followed by 30 key profiles is a very different thing from one followed by 30 random accounts.

  • Project. Any tracked account that isn't a key profile: projects, tokens, tools, and the people behind them.

  • Found. When Alphagate first picked an account up, and how many followers it had then. Found at a few hundred followers means found early.

  • First followers. The first accounts to follow a project, recorded for projects found with fewer than 200 followers.

  • Lists. Key profiles grouped by role: Founders, High Pos (C-level, heads of), Dev, Research, Investors, Official (project accounts), Connections (ambassadors, partners) and Hunters (alpha hunters).

  • Curated. All key profiles except the Hunters list.

  • Velocity alert. Your rule that fires when several key profiles follow the same account within a short window, such as 5 in 10 minutes. More →

  • CA tweet. A tweet containing a contract address, caught from 100K+ monitored accounts as it's posted.

  • Previous usernames (PU). Handles an account used before. Accounts recycled for scams often carry several.

  • Contracts posted. Every contract address an account has tweeted, kept after the tweet is deleted.

  • MC at tweet time. On CA tweets, the market cap when the tweet was posted, where available, rather than now.

  • Trading terminal. The trading site Alphagate's contract links open in: Axiom, Padre, Photon, GMGN or BasedBot. More →
