Velocity alerts

Get alerted when several key profiles follow the same account within minutes.

One key profile following a new account is a data point. Five in ten minutes usually means something is happening. A velocity alert fires when at least the number of key profiles you set follow the same account within your time window.

Opening a velocity alert's list of key profiles, then the rule that produced it

The column only shows alerts from your own rules, so it stays empty until you create one: the gear on the column, or Watchlist › Velocity Alerts (the same rules). View KPs on an alert lists exactly who followed, with their followers and tags.

Notes

Min KPs

2 to 20 key profiles.

Window (min)

5 to 1,440 minutes.

KP Source

All KPs, or only Watchlist KPs: the profiles you trust.

KP Min Followers

Ignore follows by small key profiles.

Target Min KFs

Only accounts that already have this many key followers.

Target Max Followers

Only accounts still under this size. This is the setting that makes alerts early rather than late.

Discord Webhook

Also post this rule's alerts to a Discord channel.

Changes save as you type. You can have up to 10 rules.

Two rules to start with: 3 KPs in 30 minutes with Target Max Followers 2,000, for fresh accounts; and 5 KPs in 10 minutes with KP Source = Watchlist KPs, for moves by the profiles you trust.

Alerts arrive in the column and its pop-out, under the bell, on Telegram if it's connected, and at the rule's webhook. On the Free plan you can create rules, but nothing is delivered.
