# Pop-outs and sounds

Live Feed columns in their own windows, and when they make a sound.

Any column can live in its own narrow window, to keep beside a chart or on a second screen. Pop-outs open from the right (Velocity Alerts, then CA Tweets, then New Tokens), and **Pop out** brings back the same window rather than opening another. If nothing opens, allow pop-ups for alphagate.io.

Worth knowing:

* Sound is **on** in pop-outs and **off** on the page. A browser only allows sound after you've clicked once in that window.
* A pop-out reads its filters when it opens: after changing filters on the page, reopen it.
* Each kind of window remembers its own text size (80%–160%).

**Try:** New Tokens with sound in a pop-out on a second screen, and CA Tweets silent with tight filters on the main page.
{% endhint %}
